The admissions process

The admissions procedure comprises:

Stage One: evaluation of application documents

Stage Two: interviews with selected candidates*

*Where interview in person is not possible, electronic communication platforms (eg Skype, Zoom etc) will be used.



A list of applicants accepted to the GSSR is published on our website (see Admissions/Results) as soon as the admissions committee has reached its decision. Candidates will also be notified by e-mail and by registered post.

Applicants who fail to attend the appointed interview (or test of language abilities if applicable) without producing acceptable justification will be considered to have withdrawn their applications.


Appeals Commission

An Appeals Commission will meet to consider appeals from candidates submitted in writing to the School within fourteen days of the appearance of the announcement of the results of the applications process (in hard copy or by e-mail to
