MA graduates who chose to collect their diplomas in person attended a ceremony in Lancaster on December 12th. The ceremony was shown live on the University web site www.lancaster.ac.uk.

New validation agreement
   Representatives of Lancaster University have completed the quinquennial review visit. A new agreement for the next 5 years is being prepared for signature. Discussions are under way to add Lancaster validation of the GSSR PhD programme to current MA validation arrangements, thereby allowing students to choose whether they wish to work for the award of a British or a Polish (IFiS PAN) doctoral diploma.
