Tetiana Danylova (PhD in Philosophy) is a Visiting Scholar at GSSR as a fellow of the International Institute of Education Social Rescue Fund (www.scholarrescuefund.org). She is a Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Methodology of Psychosocial and Political-Psychological Research, Institute for Social and Political Psychology, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. Tetiana’s work focuses on the problems and prospects of social forecasting in the context of the contemporary world. The area of her professional interests is quite broad: from Taoist philosophy and myths, to cultural-civilizational clashes, to mental health.

Olena Denysevych (PhD in Philology) received her PhD from Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and uses psycholinguistic methods and lexicography to understand the intersections of language, culture, and religious preservation by ethnic groups in Ukraine. Olena has been an associate professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at Zhytomyr Polytechnic, Ukraine. As an interdisciplinary scholar, in 2022, she conducted research at Jagiellonian University’s Faculty of Management and Social Communication and at the Institute of Literature in Kraków. Within the IIE-SRF fellowship at GSSR, Olena conducts research on the emotions, social support, and future perspectives of Ukrainians during the war (in collaboration with dr. hab. Joshua K. Dubrow, IFiS PAN).

Daniel Edison received a bachelor’s degree in history, with a focus on Eastern European political thought, from Yale University, where he is now a Parker Huang postgraduate research fellow. He is in Warsaw for an investigation into the post-Hegelian mediation of Universal and Particular among the Warsaw School of the History of Ideas. Daniel has published writing on contemporary Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus, and has worked on human rights advocacy for Belarusian political prisoners.

Giulia Mistretta is spending the first semester of 2023-2024 at GSSR, as an Erasmus fellow. Giulia is a 2nd year MA student at the University of Palermo, Italy, where she studies toward a degree in philosophical and historical sciences. Her research interests include moral philosophy, theoretical philosophy, among others.
