GSSR invites applications from graduates of Higher Education Institutes in Poland and abroad, who hold an MA degree or its equivalent and have a good command of written and spoken English. Candidates from any subject background are eligible to apply.

English language proficiency
Good command of English is a basic condition for admission to GSSR. If English is not your native language, as part of your application package (see Documents checklist) you must provide the results of a standardized English language proficiency test (see table below for acceptable tests and scoring).
During the interview, each candidate has to display a level of knowledge of the English language allowing them to conduct research and take part in classes held in English.

If you take the TOEFL or IELTS, please request a copy of your results to be sent directly to GSSR’s Admissions Office. The TOEFL institution code for GSSR is 7962.
If you have completed your studies in English (Bachelor’s or MA degree), you are exempt from providing results of a standardized tests.
MA degree or its equivalent
GSSR invites applications from graduates of HEIs in Poland and abroad, who hold an MA degree or its equivalent, or provide official documentation indicating that they will earn their MA degree no later than the 3rd month after admission to GSSR.
Candidates from any subject background are eligible to apply. Admission to GSSR depends on the applicants’ academic qualifications, research skills, and command of English.
