1-Year International Programme in Sociology
GSSR offers a 1-year international programme in sociology developed under the collaborative framework of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN), GSSR and Lancaster University (UK). This training programme, taught by renowned GSSR faculty from Poland and abroad, imparts theoretical and methodological skills that academic and extra-academic social science research calls for. You may choose one of two educational tracks focusing on the political or economic aspects of social life, respectively.
If you complete the 1-year Programme successfully, you earn an IFiS-issued Certificate of Course Completion and become eligible to apply to Lancaster University (UK), to be considered for a British MA degree.
