Travel Grants for PhD students at HEIs outside Poland
We cordially invite PhD students to apply for funding to participate in the four-day event “Automating Welfare – Policy Implications of AI in the Digital Welfare States”, organized within the AUTO-WELF project. This international interdisciplinary event comprises a conference, a workshop and networking, and gathers researchers, data activists and policy-makers interested in digitalization and datafication of the welfare states. The event takes place on 9-12 April 2025 in Warsaw (Poland).
The purpose of these short-term international mobility grants is to strengthen your knowledge on digitalization and datafication processes in the area of welfare, to develop your skills to formulate policy implications, to facilitate international cooperation with experts and early career researchers working in your field, and to broaden your networks, among others.
This Call is supported by the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Science (IFiS PAN) and the Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR), via the The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) grant PROM Short-term academic exchange (in Polish, PROM- Krótkookresowa wymiana akademicka). For this call we can award up to six travel grants for PhD students at universities abroad to participate in the AUTO-WELF event.
