We are delighted to announce that June Yeoung, a fourth-year PhD student in Psychology at GSSR, has won the XV Edition of the Photography Essay Contest organized by Przegląd Socjologii Jakościowej.

Her essay, “Fluid Identity: Selection of An Expat’s Self-Portraits in Łódź”, was selected as the best sociological photo-essay of the year under the theme “Traces of Identity: Regionalism in the Era of Globalization.”
