We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our GSSR alumni who have recently been awarded prestigious grants by the National Science Centre, Poland!

1. Dr. Olga Zelinska, GSSR Alumna, has won a 3-year NCN SONATA grant for her project titled “The Impact of War on Social Movements in Europe.” This important research will investigate how war influences social movements across the continent. More about Dr. Zelinska can be found here.
2. Dr. Olga Lavrinenko, GSSR Alumna, has been awarded an NCN SONATA grant for her research on “Gender Gaps in Political Participation: Examining the Links Between Gender Equality and Attitudes Towards Gender Roles in Europe, 1999–2021.” Her study will shed light on crucial aspects of gender equality and political engagement.
