Camil Parvu is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of
Bucharest, and a member of the Department of Political and Constitutional Theory and
History. With studies at the University of Bucharest, SNSPA, University of Oxford, Paris-
Sorbonne and the European University Institute in Florence, his research and publications
focus on political representation, welfare state, migration and cosmopolitan political theory.
Camil is a member of the research teams of European research projects aimed at
benchmarking democratic innovations in public deliberation, migration, urban rights and
policies, as well as analyzing threats to academic freedom.
