The 6th International Forest Policy Meeting took place from May 12 to 15, 2026, organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and the Technical University in Zvolen.

The event was attended by representatives of the Laboratory of Environmental Sociology at IFiS PAN: Prof. Krzysztof Niedziałkowski and Anna Firgolska, who presented their research papers.

Anna Firgolska’s presentation, which analyzed forestry conflicts in the trade press from 1989 to 2025, was recognized by the Forest Monitor journal as one of the three best PhD presentations at the conference.
