Upon enrollment, all doctoral students receive an individual @gssr.edu.pl email account. This is the official channel of communication with GSSR.

All important information is sent to this address, including announcements about funding opportunities, course-related matters (including grades), and administrative deadlines and decisions. Students are expected to use this account for GSSR-related correspondence and to check it regularly. Failure to do so does not exempt from responsibilities arising from communicated information.

Students are also encouraged to use their GSSR email in communication with supervisors, particularly for matters related to supervision, dissertation progress, and other formal aspects of doctoral training.

After the successful defense of the dissertation, the email account remains active for 60 days and is then deactivated. After deactivation, the account and all stored data (including emails and attachments) are permanently deleted. Graduates are responsible for backing up and transferring important information and for informing their academic and professional contacts of the change.
